Dallin R. Groneman

Dallin is a life-long resident of Davis County, growing up in Layton and later moving down the street to Syracuse. Dallin earned his Bachelor of Science from Weber State University and his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. After graduating from law school, Dallin practiced family law for a short time before pursuing a career in criminal prosecution for several years, the vast majority of that time being with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

During his tenure as a prosecutor, Dallin had a unique responsibility of screening and prosecuting cases involving abuse and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults and the elderly. He developed a passion for protecting people in difficult situations and seeking justice against those who caused harm to them.

Unfortunately, like many others, Dallin lost family members in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, he witnessed both the calm that comes from having an estate plan and the chaos that descends on those family members whose loved ones have departed the earth with no plans in place. These experiences also led him to develop the skills and knowledge needed to help others plan their estates.

Outside of practicing law, Dallin enjoys spending time with his wife (also an attorney who he met and married during law school) and their three daughters, playing violin for the local Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, fly fishing, watching old black and white movies, and maintaining his small apple orchard. He is also fluent in Portuguese.
