Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Concert: Among the first events to kick off the season happens in our own city of Syracuse. Join the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra on December 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Syracuse High School. Enjoy a night filled with songs of the season, a visit from Santa and the Grinch, and other fun activities for the whole family!

2025 Hanukkah Market: On Sunday, November 16th, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., be sure to stop by the Wagner Jewish Community Center for the annual Hanukkah Market. Lights at Temple Square: It's time for a Utah tradition! Beginning way back in 1965, the lights at Temple Square has been a staple of our state every holiday season. This year's lights will begin November 28, 2025, and run until January 1, 2026. Lights are on from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Although construction still continues on the temple itself, much of the grounds are open again.

Layton City's Lights Before Christmas: Between November 25th and December 31, Layton City puts on a display of holiday lights that almost rivals Rockefeller Square. Lights are displayed at the Layton Commons Park at 437 N Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah. This fun display draws people from all over and has become a tradition among many in Davis County.

Ogden Christmas Village: Every year, Ogden holds a wonderfully unique display of miniature villages just outside the municipal building on Washington Boulevard. From November 29th to January 1st, be sure to take a walk around a picturesque little town, enjoy some hot chocolate, and get ideas for your own home decorations. Complete with an opening celebration on November 29th, which will include a Santa Run at 4:30 and Electric Light Parade at 5:30, the whole family will have a great time!

Grief and the Holidays: The holiday season brings along with it family gatherings, parties, and reconnecting with old friends. Sadly, amongst the joyful occasions there can be a touch of grief for many as we suffer loss. Join Caring Connections for a supportive group and discussion about grief and the holidays on November 11, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the University of Utah College of Nursing. Beginning Knitting: Join a knitting class every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, at Seed Stitch, located at 115 South Main Street, Bountiful, Utah 84010. Learn the basics of knitting, meet great people, and have fun!

This is a free one-hour informational seminar on the basics of estate planning open to the public, including the various tools used and how they can help you in your life.
