It's Fair Season!

With summer unofficially winding down, we enter into the harvest season and all the county fairs that go with it! From deep-fried Oreos and giant turkey legs to oil paintings by local artists, county fairs always bring fun and entertainment for everyone. Below is a list of just some of the upcoming county fairs in our area:

Vintage First Saturdays:

August 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at American Rust & Patina, 110 North Main Street, Layton, Utah 84041

Sunday Concert Series at the Kenley Amphitheater:

Every summer, the Davis Arts Council holds free concerts on Sunday evenings beginning at 7:00. These concerts are a longstanding tradition and always a great time with fantastic local performers. The concerts are held at the Kenley Amphitheater in Layton Park (across from Layton High and behind the Layton Heritage Museum). This year's lineup continues into its last month with Esencia de Mexico on August 3rd, Megan Blue and the Bonfire on August 10th, Petty Theft on August 17th, SolAria on August 24th, and Broadway Under the Stars on August 31st. Brigham City Peach Days:

Peach Days is an annual tradition you won't want to miss! With car shows, quilt shows, a 5k race, concerts, and of course every food a peach can make, you're sure to have a great time in Brigham City! This year's events are held September 5-6, 2025. Death and Taxes - How Estate Plans Protect You and Your Family:

Most of us have an idea that we should have a plan for our family, but don’t know where to begin. We hear about estate planning in movies, books, and stories of distant relatives who inherited something from their estranged uncle. At worst we discover them, or rather a need for one, during the most difficult time in our lives.

This is a free one-hour informational seminar on the basics of estate planning open to the public, including the various tools used and how they can help you in your life.
